Welcome to Edward Bekker Ski & Alpinisme
Edward Bekker Ski & Alpinisme is a travel organization, specialized in organizing and carrying out ski and mountain sports trips. From mountain sports courses for beginners in the Apls to worldwide climbing expeditions to the seven summits, we have tailored programs for every level. Edward Bekker and his team of UIAGM mountain and ski guides stand for top quality in mountain sports, whereby safety is of utmost importance.We’re located in Switzerland, a stone’s throw from the French town of Chamonix and have a reception and equipment depot in Chamonix. We also have an office in the Netherlands from which we organize all expeditions outside of the Alps.

Last friday we finished our freeride & skitour trip above the Polar Circle with a beautiful skitour to Storgalten in the Lyngen Alps. Enjoy the images of this successfull trip.

At this moment we are aboard a beautifull sailing boat , from where we make daytrips to summits above the fjords in the region of Finnmark, Northern Norway. While at home in the Alps slowly spring is taking over, we find ourselves here still in winter. Click the picture or this link for an impression of our Ski & Sail trip aboard.
Because both Edward and Ilse are on board, our office in Switzerland is closed for the moment. We try to answer your e-mails when we can. Thank you for your understanding.

Op 4 juni as is het exact 25 jaar geleden dat Edward als eerste Nederlander het felbegeerde UIAGM gidsenspeldje in ontvangst mocht nemen. Hij was hiermee de eerste Nederlandse internationaal erkende berg- en skigids. Tegelijkertijd werd Edward Bekker Ski & Alpinisme opgericht.
Wie jarig is, trakteert! Daarom ontvangt iedereen die vanaf nu tot en met 31 december 2012 een reis bij ons boekt, automatisch een jaarabonnement op Bergen Magazine cadeau!

After a busy winter season in the Alps, our office team is out skiing! From Friday May 4 until Tuesday May 15 2012, both our offices in Switzerland and the Netherlands are closed. Phonecalls will however be answered as much as possible, e-mails will however be answered as from May 16. Thank you for your comprehension!
