Winter program
Zooming down on a thick layer of powder, making the first tracks on the mountainside or climbing a spectacular frozen waterfall. With a mountain or ski guide you'll leave behind the busy ski slopes for places that would be difficult to get to on your own. Over the years, we've carefully put together an elaborate winter program for adventurous skiers, snowboarders, climbers and hikers. Our experienced guides will take you safely into the mountainous landscape and reveal to you the secrets of the mountains.
All mountain instructionweeks - the basics
This is the foundation of our whole ski and tour skiing program. The downhill off piste course will teach you the skills that you need to participate in all of our ski and tour ski programs. Much attention is given to safety and you’ll learn to use avalanche transceivers, probes and shovels. These courses are developed for good skiers who can easily conquer all slope grades, including black. Tour ski and off piste experience is not necessary.
From a comfortable hotel in a popular ski area, you’ll become familiar with the environment by exploring it off piste. This is for you if you’re in for everything, a skier in heart and soul, and a sports enthusiast. With the use of lifts, you’ll make many descents off piste. You may go down a couloir and sometimes ascend on foot or with the use of skins. This is for advanced skiers with off piste experience and outstanding physical condition.
This involves ski tours and/or taking day trips on skis, as much off piste skiing as possible in various famous ski areas. We use lifts to quickly get up the mountains and sometimes skins to cut across the mountain. This program consists of long, spectacular off piste descents that are mostly out of bounds. It is for skilled off piste skiers.
You are an experienced freerider who has been to most of the “liftserviced” freeridearea's?With Ski Hike’ N Heli we enlarge the area quite a bit! The very experienced heli pilot flies us above the skiareas to high-altitude helidropps (+4000 m), from where we start our skitour. It would have taken us days to get here without a heli, but now we can start skiing in a couple of minutes. Equipped with climbing skins, we manage to fill an entire day with only one helidrop, while we both ski and hike with sometimes a summitclimb. In case of “no fly” weather there are many alternatives. We are flexible, as we have our skins and enough skilifts nearby. Back in the valley, we admire our tracks behind a drink on a sunny terrace. Cheers!
You’ll leave the ski areas behind and trek from hut to hut, completely outside the slopes. Using your own strength, you’ll climb with skins and a backpack. Experience pure nature.
Ski & Roadtrips
The world offers countless fantastic places to ski. In addition to the best ski areas in the Alps, we also specialize in offering more exotic ski trips where you’ll have plenty of opportunities to discover the land where you’re staying. This offers a completely new experience for the adventurous, inquisitive skier.
Freeride weeks are available for snowboard enthusiasts who can manage in all types of snow and are looking for more. Our experienced snowboard guides know all the best snowboarding places. They’ll lead you, from your comfortable hotel in the Chamonix Valley, on a discovery tour of the Mont Blanc area. You’ll make long off piste descents on your board, and safety will be covered elaborately during the course.
Iceclimbing
This involves climbing frozen waterfalls with ‘ice tools’ and crampons. You’ll receive video instruction from specialized mountain guides. Waterfall ice climbing is for climbers with a minimal number of climbing hours (grade 5). We can offer one day or multiple day private arrangements.
