Our skilodge is located at only 10 minutes by private minivan from the nearest Chamonix skiing area of Vallorcine (Domaine de Balme). After a nice breakfast including fresh baked bread an pastries by Ilse, Edward's luxury Cadillac Escalade 4 x 4 is ready to take you to the best backcountry skiplaces of Chamonix. Even Swiss Verbier and Italian Courmayeur are inluded in your lift pass!

Bellevue Alpine Lodge

Vallorcine lies just outside of the Chamonix valley, about 10 minutes by train / car from Argentière, and offers direct access to the ski resort of Col de Balme, one of the ski areas of Chamonix. Our accommodation is tastefully renovated Bellevue Alpine Lodge in Vallorcine, around 5 minutes walk from the train station of Le Buet, from which you have train access (train ticket is included in the package) to all ski areas in the Chamonix Valley.

The combination of Freeriding and Ski touring is without doubt one of the best mountain sports disciplines. Freeride skis and skins will take you to places you would normally not easily reach.

During this varied week you will get used to skiing off piste and to ski touring. After a few piste descents as a warming up, we step off the piste and work hard to improve our technique in unprepared terrain with the help of video instruction. This instruction in avalanche and snow safety is very important during this week. Base station is the comfortable Bekker chalet in Finhaut, Valais, Switzerland. This is in the quiet part of the Mont Blanc massif, still not far from Chamonix in France.
