Freeride Engelberg
Freeriding for the skilled
The traditional town of Engelberg is located beneath the 3228 meter high Titlis above the Vierwaldstättersee. The town is known by insiders for its amazing amounts of fresh snow every year. Therefore it's not a surprise that Engelberg has developed itself as a perfect freeride spot.
The skiarea itself is well developed and landmarked by the rotating gondola to Titlis (3028m). There are lots of beautiful long and also steep slopes to be skied which are comparable to those in La Grave! From the peaks around the area the view on the Berner, Bündner and Walliser Alps is stunning. Local restaurants on the slopes offer tasty meals in a cosy ambience.

The Mont Blanc massif offers some of the best freeride areas in the Alps. The magnificent peaks and majestic glaciers of the highest mountain in the Western Europe provide the backdrop for this new ski safari. With the Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass, we have access to all ski lifts in the area in France (Mont Blanc Unlimited), Switzerland (verbier 4 vallées) and Italy (Courmayeur).
Our home base is the brand new Bekker Chalet, located in the Swiss town of Finhaut. From here we can reach Chamonix in 25 min, Verbier and Courmayeur in only 45 minutes by private minivan.

La Grave is situated between Grenoble and Briançon, in the middle of an extreme ski area up to a height of 3560 m. We discovered this unique place more than 20 years ago and were struck by it. It is highly attractive for ski fanatics tired of the hordes of piste skiers and who want to enjoy the beauty and the challenge of the high mountains. The whole area is Off Piste with unprepared ground, so no pistes!
