EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT |
Have you found a trip you’d like to take? Click here to view our terms and conditions and to download the registration form.
To be sure that you have a place in the program of your choice, it’s best not wait too long before booking your trip. We’re often fully booked soon after a new brochure comes out. Also, the huts/hotels and flights have to be booked further and further in advance. This means there’s always the chance that there are no more places available or that you’ll have to pay for a more expensive room or ticket. The guides also have to be notified in advance. Unfortunately, it’s sometimes necessary to cancel a trip in an early stage if there are not enough reservations. We therefore stress the need to book as early as possible to prevent disappointment for everyone involved.
For those who book 10 weeks in advance, we offer an early booking discount of at least €30 p.p. This discount can be up to €75 for expeditions! |

BE PREPARED FOR YOUR TRIP OR CLIMB |
We suggest that trip or course participants prepare at home with conditioning training such as running, cycling, hiking, skating or swimming. Don’t over-do it, but build up slowly. Straining yourself greatly increases the chance of injury!
For some courses and climbs it’s good to travel a bit early in order to acclimatizeto the high altitude. This is especially useful for the summer climbs and the glacier trips, but also for the tour skiing trips. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about preparations.

MOUNTAIN SPORTS, RISKS AND PROGRAM CHANGES |
Nature is central to all of our trips. Nothing is as beautiful as a thick layer of fresh snow or the challenge of a sheer cliff. But nature has its own laws and can be unpredictable.
We work to minimize risks by working exclusively with certified mountain guides who all have a wealth of knowledge and experience, by using high quality equipment, and by observing strict safety regulations. However, it’s important for participants to be aware there are always risks associated with mountain sports. It is possible that the guides will need to change the program to limit the risks. Therefore a last-minute decision of a guide should always be respected. |

ACCOMMODATION |
During our activities we stay in comfortable accommodations which suit the activity we’re participating in. The hotels, huts and hostels are specially selected by Edward Bekker Ski & Alpinisme.
In general you’ll sleep in huts that have large rooms with a number of beds (dormitories), or at hotels in rooms with two or more people. If you register as a single, then we will try to put you in a room with someone of the same sex. However, this is not always possible because of small group sizes or uneven numbers. However, if you prefer to have your own room, please let us know when you book your trip. We will try to meet your request with the addition of only a small fee (depending on the trip). |
